Life and Musical Career
Piotr Dylewski is a Polish pianist, composer, educator and author whose work is particularly associated with piano education for children and young musicians. His compositions combine accessible musical language with carefully planned technical and expressive challenges, making them suitable both for teaching and concert performance.
Dylewski studied at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, now the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. His professional career has centred on musical education, particularly piano teaching. In addition to teaching, Dylewski has developed educational resources for students, teachers and parents. Together with Jarosław Mirkiewicz, he co-authored A Guide for Parents of Children Beginning Education in Music Schools, published by Poland’s Centre for Education of Art School Teachers in 2014.
